Ottomatic’s FileMaker Hosting platform includes a multi-tiered backup strategy. Backups are sent offsite every day and held for 14 days by default. Point-in-time snapshots are made at 30-minute intervals and stored for up to 7 days. Backups can be downloaded or restored from the Ottomatic Cloud Console or OttoFMS whenever necessary.
Additional backup and disaster recovery options like full VM snapshots and offsite backups to your own s3 buckets are also available.

In addition to real-time monitoring, we store valuable statistical data, such as Event and Access logs, for historical analysis and auditing.

Ottomatic’s FileMaker hosting platform is fully managed, meaning you do not have to worry about managing our maintaining your FileMaker Server. We do all the maintenance and ensure that the instance runs as expected. All you have to do is build your applications.
