Our data centers have varying compliance, including SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, HITRUST, and HIPAA/HiTech
Ottomatic is the only 3rd party SOC 2 certified FileMaker hosting provider.
No "Lite" FileMaker Data Centers
We do not use micro or lite data centers like other providers. These smaller data centers can usually only host the very smallest FileMaker servers.
Our traditional data centers can host any size of FileMaker servers.

Why Data Centers Matter
FileMaker data centers deliver essential resources that ensure optimal performance for the FileMaker application. Key factors include:
- Proximity to users: A low-latency connection is critical for FileMaker. The closer the data center is to your users, the better the performance.
- High-speed network bandwidth: A minimum of 1 GB is recommended for adequate performance, but 10 GB is ideal for superior efficiency.
- Sufficient compute power: FileMaker servers, regardless of size, need enough processing capability. Small servers are typically suited for just a few users or testing purposes.
